Your Wedding Exerience
This guide will help give you an idea of what it’s like working with me and set expectations for everyone throughout the process. My hope is that working with me is fun, stress-free, and a great piece of your wedding experience.
My style is editorial with a documentary flare, meaning I provide enough posing direction so that you are never left wondering what to do, but I leave space for those candid, natural, and in-between moments to unfold and be captured. When you look at your photographs, I want them to take you back to the moment exactly as it happened, from the way it felt to how it looked - which is why I put an emphasis on never over-posing or over-editing my photos.
Getting Ready
The getting ready portion of the day is such a fun and memorable part of a wedding, because that is where all the true anticipation and excitement is so evident..
First Looks
The first looks has easily become of of the most beneficial “modern” additions to a wedding day. Tradition has it that usually a bride & groom would first see each other as they walk down the aisle; however, seeing one another BEFORE the ceremony has become very loved in our day and age.

I try my best to make this time of day super fun and special for the two of you. It’s not an hour of time that’s allotted for stiff smiles and forcedly posted photographs. This little chunk of time is special for the two of you, to soak in the day! Take a step back and breathe in the moment of what the day means. It’s a time for you two to hold each other, tell each other what the other means to you, goof off and be silly, smile and laugh and dance, run, spin, tease, and love on one another.
Ceremony and Reception
As you might have noticed, I will be with you and your friends and family every second of the day leading up to the reception. It is my responsibility to make sure all the candids and portraits leading up to the reception run on time and go as smoothly as possible.
The reception is the time where you will see less of me as I take a step back and capture the reception events as they unfold.
